Jack the Radio's new album, Devil In Here is now officially available. The band challenged themselves to take an alternate path to make their 3rd full length disc. Devil In Here features 12 songs recorded live in a room with 16 microphones and a 3-piece string section all in front of 2 sold out crowds seated at the old Amplified Art gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina.

On the evening of January 19th, 2013, the members of Jack the Radio took their seats in front of an intimate but spirited group of fans in Raleigh's Amplified Art gallery for the tracking and filming of the groups first live album and DVD.

More accurately, the group performed two, back to back, sold out sets at the gallery. Independently driven, the band lined the room with seats, lights, a sound system and 16 microphones next to the "house" couches, art, pictures and hand screen printed concert posters.

Inspired by original, stripped down versions of the songs, the group brought in a three piece string section for over half the set.  The electric guitar and lap steel were replaced by a gleaming metal-bodied resonator and a traditional dobro.  Signer/guitarist, A.C. Hill stated, "We wanted to offer a setting where the audience could hear each instrument and each song in it's raw form."

The event was documented by recording engineer Al Jacob of Warrior Sound and videographer Jason Arthurs and team. The CD and DVD officially release August 6th, 2013 and will be followed by a release show at the Pour House, downtown Raleigh, Friday, August 9th, 2013.
